Effission MFG is an extension to Effission 3.0 and manages manufacturing along with wholesale and retail. The solution effectively and efficiently addresses the complexities associated with in-house manufacturing allowing you to take complete control of the manufacturing process from your desktop.

The solution contains all of the features of wholesale and retail, plus a set of specific and standard tools for manufacturing and export. Effission MFG enables you to efficiently control your manufacturing unit by managing work orders, precious inventory, production flow and monitoring every stage of production—from product development to shipping finished goods. At every stage, the system is equipped with powerful tools to enable you in making faster and better decisions.

In-house Manufacturing

• Product development features cover key functions like storing designs and creating models and styles.
• Seamlessly integrate production with sales and marketing through comprehensive estimation and costing, customer-specific quotations and sale order generation. The flexibility of assigning raw material and labor costs for user-defined customer/vendor groups (e.g., Corporate/Retail/Wholesale) in Master data and additionally applying formula based markups to styles makes costing a speedy, flexible and easy process.
• The concept of Order Bank, which stores all sale orders and enables production controllers to review orders and distribute relevant workload to Wax Pulling based on production priority and capacity.
• Control production bags according to production requirements and not as evenly distributed quantities.
• Comprehensive production bag management:
  Production bags are generated automatically and remain associated with a production line number. Importantly, each bag is related with a specific order and style through a unique bag number that contains order number and serial, order type, style number, etc.
  The logical ability of the system to split and merge bags and the ease with which the system manages production transactions makes Effission MFG successful on the production floor.
• The ability of Effission MFG to store accurate and in-depth information about production activity enables you to easily track precious material and labor incurred on individual styles, employees and departments. This feature enables the system to compute real time cost incurred on jewellery pieces at any stage of production.
• Stone inventory features help to track stones in raw material form along with changes due to processing like mix, assorted, flute/bunch, burnt, broken, etc. Activities such as assorting, bunch/flute making are performed by referring to relevant orders and style numbers, saving time and effort. The information captured in this manner is used for generating critical reports for procurement loss, bagging savings on tolerance factor, etc.
• Metal inventory features effectively manage precious metals, findings and alloys using simple and powerful tools for managing processes like alloying, melting, casting issue and return and booking related production loss.
• Department-wise expected metal recovery reports can be generated for a specified date range and can be used by the refining department. Effission MFG has a dedicated interface for refining, which includes processing production dust and recovering metal and providing detailed information about gross metal loss.
• Effission MFG is capable of outsourcing Mounting and Part fabrication work or part/full orders to vendors (Contract Manufacturing).
• Effission MFG is also compatible with scanning and printing Barcode and RFID tags.
• The solution is also an effective Decision Support tool. The management can use various analytical tools to gather information that enables better decision-making at every stage of the work cycle.
